What privacy you actually get — and what you don't
We would rather be precise than sell you a fantasy, because overpromising on privacy is how people get hurt.
What Monero gives you here: the payment itself is private. There is no card, no bank, no exchange account tied to the purchase, and no chain analysis that links your wallet to this order. We hold no identity documents on you because we never asked for any — which also means there is nothing about you for us to lose in a breach or hand over on request.
What it does not give you: anonymity from Anthropic. You redeem the code on your own Claude account, which has your email on it and which Anthropic operates. Monero removes the payment trail. It does not make your Claude usage anonymous, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
What we keep
- Your email address, because the code has to go somewhere.
- The order record — plan, amount, timestamps — which we need for refunds and accounting.
- Nothing else. No ID, no IP-based profiling, no advertising trackers, no name, no address.
If you want to minimise even that, use a throwaway email address you can still open for the next day or two. Read our privacy policy for specifics.
How to pay
- Pick a plan and choose Monero (XMR) at checkout.
- Send the exact amount shown to the address on the payment page. The rate is locked for the life of the invoice.
- Wait for confirmations — usually ten to twenty minutes for XMR. The order page updates itself.
- Your code arrives by email. Redeem it at claude.ai.
If something goes wrong
Monero transactions are irreversible, which cuts both ways: we cannot claw back a payment, and we cannot be charged back. That makes our delivery record the only thing holding this up. Median delivery is under 1 hour, guaranteed under 12 hours, and if we miss it you get a full XMR refund to an address you nominate. Same if a code arrives dead — tell us within 48 hours.

Do you require KYC for Monero payments?
No. We ask for an email address so we can send the redemption code, and nothing else. No ID, no selfie, no proof of address. If you want the email to be a throwaway address, that is fine — just keep access to it until the code arrives.
How long do Monero payments take to confirm?
Usually ten to twenty minutes for the confirmations our processor waits for. That is slower than USDT on TRON but well inside our delivery guarantee.
Will Anthropic see that I paid with Monero?
No. Anthropic sees a gift subscription bought and paid for normally by us. Your redemption is just a code entered on your account. How you paid us is not visible to them.
Is the redemption itself private?
Partially, and we will not overstate it. The payment is private. Your Claude account is not — you sign in with your own email and Anthropic knows who holds the subscription. Monero removes the payment trail, not the account itself.
Can I get a refund in Monero?
Yes. If we fail to deliver, or the code is dead and you tell us within 48 hours, we refund in XMR to an address you give us, minus the network fee.
