Can I really not pay Anthropic directly from China?
Try first — if your card works, use it, because paying Anthropic directly is cheaper than paying us. Enable international and recurring payments in your banking app and retry once. The reason we exist is that for most CNY cardholders that switch does not exist or does not help, because the block is a central-bank or issuer policy rather than a setting.
Which coin should I use from China?

Do you need my CNY bank details or ID?
